Botticelli “Virgin and Child with the Young Saint John the Baptist and two angels”

“Madonna col Bambino, San Giovanni e due Angeli”, the “Madonna with the Child, Saint John as a child and two angels”, is a youth work by Sandro Botticelli. We find in large part the style of one of his masters, Filippo Lippi.

This work of 1468 and this type of representation of the Virgin was widespread and particularly in vogue.
