The Bargello Palace and Museum in Florence

The Bargello Museum is located in a 13th-century palace, Palazzo del Capitano del Popolo and later Bargello.

It is now a National Museum where the most beautiful sculptures by Donatello are exhibited, but also those of Michelangelo, Cellini and Verrocchio.

It was the first building in Florence to become the stable seat of urban institutions.

The first part of the Palace was built from 1255 to 1261, then in 1295 and further expanded from 1316 to 1320.

In addition to the museum itself, you will have the pleasure of visiting a magnificent Florentine palace.
